The New Mexico Black History Month Organizing Committee's mission is to preserve the rich cultural heritage that African Americans have made to the state of New Mexico and the United States. We do this by producing an annual slate of events that cover five focus areas: Arts and Culture, Cuisine, Education, Positive Youth Development and Health.
